Vijay’s Kaavalan hit screens this Pongal to the delight of many but not before facing hindrances in the form of theatre owners and unsettled dues to say. Now it looks like we can forget all those bad memories and welcome the good news. Director Siddique’s Kaavalan having the lovely duo of Vijay and Asin in the lead has been received with open arms and reportedly the movie is doing well.

Vijay has now announced a press-meet later this evening to discuss his views on the same but the fact that the actor will be meeting AIADMK chief Jayalalitha before the meet has been making headlines. Many are of the view that this particular coming together will result in some significant political announcements on behalf of Vijay.
